Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon Fire Relief Resources
The Hermit’s Peak/ Calf Canyon fire is now the largest wildfire in New Mexico history at 311,000 acres+ as of May 23, 2022. This wildfire has displaced thousands of people from their homes in Mora, San Miguel, Taos, and Colfax counties. Many of these families have been forced to live in shelters, hotels or their RV camper for weeks at a time, while others are still at risk of evacuation. At least 340 structures have been lost. Power outages have been intermittent or ongoing for weeks in many villages. Please consider donating or volunteering time to help aid those impacted by these wildfires.
